Best dual sli setup

Try to overclock your CPU. I would not be surprised to find your CPU is the weak link in your setup. And ensure you've got good CPU cooling. Overclocking will raise temperatures. Also it will use more power. I would really recommend at minimum a watt quality PSU. Okay I will try overclock the CPU, and make som benchmark before and after.

And thanks guys for helping me! I'm realy grateful! After that, this is the result: GTA V is now running fps on ultra-settings! I cannot be sure about what the problem was, but a fresh install of Windows worked. So if anyone gets the same problem as me, just make sure you have ALL drivers for PC installed and updated.

Alternatively, try reinstalling Windows. Very strange. You could have had some file corruption. I can play it at 4K with every setting cranked except grass it's on normal because on Ultra it tanks performance for very little gain in visual fidelity.

I also keep the advanced graphics settings off except for the "high detail streaming while flying" setting, which I do have enabled. I do get some occasional dips I mean this is to be expected at 4K with these kind of settings but they are rare and there isn't any stuttering and I get 60 fps on average.

VERY happy with the scaling in this game. Jun Make sure SLI is enabled. Watched a lot of tutorials, about like "how to setup SLI" but nothing helped One of my friends says that my power supply is too small Corsair TX and another friend says it not?

Is it my power supply that can't deliver enough power to my hardware? Any ideas about what I'm doing wrong? All Results. The raw specs of a graphics card — things like bandwidth and RAM — would absolutely be increased by adding a second card. If all things go according to plan, the dual-card setup will result in higher framerates and a higher ceiling for visual settings.

There's also the added benefit that a two-card setup means it's possible to get more performance by just adding a card rather than entirely replacing one.

The initial complications come from the allocation of those resources, however. Part of the problem stems from how software interacts with a two-card setup. These technologies are necessary for a system to use both cards simultaneously to produce a single output. However, SLI and Crossfire don't always work exactly as they should, and even if the system is fine, certain software can malfunction or flat-out be incompatible with them.

As a gamer, the viability of your entire PC setup would be subject to the whims of a title's developers. The other side of the issue with running two graphics cards is obvious, but rarely gets the attention it should. Off-Topic In Community Talk. This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. Forum Actions. Report Post. I want to know what would be a better set up. I'm new in these forums although I have been an nVidia user since long time ago. But after digging a little bit, I just found that maybe I could stick this oldy to a PCI express X4 slot and use it as dedicated Physx card, while the GTX would be the main graphics card, and still I would have another x16 slot free for a propper SLI configuration.

Thanks for your help! No you may not, does not have enough cuda core's for physx. The best option is to have sli activated and select the gpu you do not have a monitor attached to for physx. Do not select the box to dedicate to physx or it will also deactivate sli. Thank you for answering the question for me!

A quick question I plan to use the for physx, but I have a space issue. Is there a problem with that? I need some help guys I have the necessary PCI slots and everything to put both to work. I appreciate any input from any of you. Thanks in advance. Without being a Nvidia developer, How a GPU can work at the same level wit hthe other s is it handle the PhysX for example at the same time?? Or you have a serioux problem with the Nvidia code on all drivers. I tried old drivers XX until the Edit : If nvidia don't believeme, i'm fully available if they want to debug with my config.

Hi Guys, New Guy here, just a small doubt about this Thanks in Advance. No SLI setup is necessary if you're not teaming the cards, and a bridge is definitely out of the picture in such a case. If resetting your system to Default doesn't produce results, please post the specific problem and a system description like my sig in the SLI sub-Forum where it'll get the most exposure Jaafaman, Thanks for the quick response, and sorry for the lack of information on the post, getting used to forums.

Thank you again. You're quite welcome Great info here, thanks in advance. Best regards. Need some info here guys i want to combine my ti sc 1G with a ti 2g and use the last for my physics.

I tried to find an answer on the net so far no luck so any advice is welcome? I am wondering if there is a way to add it to my mix, of the gamer cards?
