Windows 7 overheats laptop

The problem lies within the Operating System " Operating " used tongue-in-cheek known as Windows I have already tried installing several times, including both upgrade installations and clean installations. It's the same problem over and over. Too bad, because Windows 10 looked fun and promising for the five minutes before my laptop overheated. I guess I'll stay at Windows 8. It's not a vent problem. If it is a driver problem, than appropriate generic drivers should come with the installation or the drivers installed from Windows Update during the update should also alleviate this problem.

Please fix this issue. Most of us don't want a melted mass of plastic and silicon where our PCs used to sit, and we really don't want our homes and offices to burn down because of overzealous programming.

First of all , try Power saver plan. Next check which process consumes the CPU time. Firstly, if I have to do all this tuning to make my computer run more slow why would I even think of upgrading to Win All of us know power saver plan tremendously slows down the PC right?

Last but not the least, I only had apps running which were bundled in the upgrade itself. Nothing extra. I had removed all the software that was in my old system just to be in a safer side. But no luck with the heating problem. Moreover whenever the system overheats and shuts down. If you immediately switch it on. I found a black screen saying 'No Operating System Found' message.

Then I let it cool for few minutes and restarted mt PC again. So, i had to revert to my old OS Win 7 Ultimate which is still running like ice cream smooth.

I don't think minor tuning is the ultimate solution here. Microsoft should really work on this issue that we daily consumers are facing. Didn't find what you were looking for? Ask the community.
